Gemini is the most strict and regulated which is really great. But maybe this helps someone else as well. Sorry if you already knew this, wasn't sure. The same also goes for sells, with a limit sell you specify a price higher than the current price, and the sale goes through when this higher price is reached. Market orders have lower fees because they are in a sense more flexible and provide liquidity to the market, and you get rewarded for providing liquidity with lower fees. When you submit a market order, you only specify the amount of tokens you want to buy, and the buy goes through essentially immediately. You also specify the amount of tokens you then want to buy. When you submit a limit buy, you specify a price below the current price that will trigger your buy once the price drops below your specified limit. When you have active trader up and running, you will see that under 'order type' you can choose between 'market' and 'limit' (and some others).
